Vicky Ryan - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Vicky founded GIRLS CLUB in 2017, and has led its growth across the province. In her role as Executive Director, Vicky oversees the organization’s efforts to fulfil the GIRLS CLUB mission and vision.
Vicky is a coach and consultant with a specialty in leadership development, performance management and team dynamics.
Vicky is also a mom, wife, daughter, and friend. She is passionate about radical authenticity and the connections between people that strengthen community.
Bree Cawley - DIRECTOR
Bree is an experienced event and communications professional, garnering experience from the many countries she has travelled to and lived in over the span of her career. She is passionate about forming connections and is a proud and dedicated friend, mom, wife and team member.
Bree works in communications for non-profits in the North Okanagan and enjoys working on projects where the need is great, and the impact is greater.
Bree created the first satellite Chapter of GIRLS CLUB (Okanagan) in the summer of 2017, and has been involved with the growth of the club since its start.
Kerry Elfstrom - BOARD CHAIR
Kerry is a senior performance, learning & development consultant, and coach with over 35 years experience. He has a passion for helping not-for-profit organizations adapt their structure and operations to enable them to focus on their core business and function effectively for the populations they serve.
As a father and friend of many, Kerry brings his experience and sense of humour to direct the Board’s governance effort so that the Board functions as an integrated whole, making informed decisions that move the Association towards fulfilling its mission and vision.
Jonathan Fogg - DIRECTOR, FINANCE
Jonathan has more than 25 years of professional experience and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
Jonathan articled for his CPA in Saskatchewan and spent several years working at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Toronto, London, UK, and Vancouver. He has worked in various senior finance roles in publicly traded and private companies over the course of his career.
Jonathan has experience working as a volunteer Board Member at not-for-profit organizations including a Film Society.
Sheri Hardcastle - DIRECTOR, COMMUNICATIONS
With a degree in Communications and 20 years of management experience, Sheri sees the value of diversity and inclusion in all aspects of life.
Joining GIRLS CLUB in 2018, Sheri found a community that has led to her becoming a strong advocate for inclusion, disability rights, and being a voice for change.
Sheri has found passion in contributing to a system that celebrates and respects the values and diversity of all.
Sheri enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, experiencing different cultures, and connecting with nature.
Danielle Pietramala - DIRECTOR, ENGAGEMENT
Danielle has significant experience working with children and families in the neurodiverse community, working first-hand to promote equity and inclusion in recreational sports and activities.
As the Director of Engagement, Danielle leverages her position in the community to connect with donors and like-minded organizations. This, in turn, promotes GIRLS CLUB and spreads awareness about our organization and broadens our reach to girls who would benefit from our events.
Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science, with a focus on the impact of the environment on human development. She is passionate about health and exercise; her hobbies include long-distance running, hiking, and soccer.
